The fans ask for these sponsorships. Japan actually wants their oshis to be successful and make money, if she shills a product they already use, even better. Most people's complaints about EN shilling is they shill cheap plastic with no value except that your oshi is stamped on it. But most fans of people even beg for them for that plastic because they want to be able to give money to their oshi but get something in return.

All of those are high effort or extremely relevant to the talents and bring some entertainment to their channels or their character. I am glad my oshis are doing fine financially, but the journey has lost its magic for me. Honestly the sponsored content would not be so bad if it was either not slop half the time, or if content that wasn't sponsored could be varied enough. Some chuubas are still playing the same dang games as 4 months ago.
