Skill issue. I have never spent a dime on supas, TTS, etc. and I get my chats read all the time. Just say a meme or something funny, it's not hard.

Sometimes my chat got picked up despite being a grayfag too

Never had this problem myself, and I've never had to buy my way to recognition.

Oftentimes scarcity brings value. I could find a random 1view and completely capture all of their attention, but it feels good when you say something interesting enough that a 4view decides to read it over everything else in front of thousands of people.

Question why do you care if they the streamer read your chats in the first place ? Because it sounds more like you are what you clam others of being gonna be honest here.

A hostess can physcially touch you, actually responds in real time to you specifically, and there's more intamacy between you and a hostess. Vtubers, doubly so for Holos, have mass amounts of retards doing exactly what you are in chat and you can spend $50 to $100 to get a serious reply within reason from them. I'd say it's way more expensive to get a single night's worth of conversation from someone like a Holo than it is to go get a hostess at a hostess club. Not to mention that it's miles better in terms of what you're getting

i watch vtubers like any other content creators and the only thing i want from them is to be entertained. This doesnt require any action on my part and as soon as i dont feel entertained anymore im out. If you want to enter a fan community and spend an unhealthy amount of time and money on it you only have yourself to blame.

If you want interaction, watch a 1 or 2 view. They'll react to you whether you pay or not, just to fill space and they will actually get to know you if you're a regular.
