My theory is that pandering too much is actually a debuff. Because my JP is shit tier but it's still good enough to understand when they're repeating the same shit twice in both languages, and that makes for a garbage vieweing experience. I imagine the average JOP has english better than my japanese, comparatively speaking. So every time IRyS and Kiara did that thing when they repeat the same thing twice, they're actually making the average nip's experience miserable.
FWMC don't seem to do that nearly as much, they either use one or the other. Any nip paying attention to holoEN in the first place probably knows more english than average, even if still not much, so they can follow, there's no need to pander THAT much.
