Anyone find this whole Mouse/Henya/Michi thing strange? It feels almost forced. These 3 were the ones who stayed behind before the collapse. I'm finding the Zen warning Mouse about vshojo rrat to be semi credible now.

It's not really that unlikely that something like that happened. Mouse was trustworthy enough to them not only with the finances, but also (and as seen with people like Nyan or Aethel) to throw friendships away. It isn't surprising she never gave too much glimpse to Mata even when she's the sole reason she came to VShojo. In fact the talk about Michi's "friend" makes me think that VShojo likely also spoke badly about Mata, and while Zen or GEEGA didn't took it, Mouse fully believed it and thus distanced herself from it.
Zen probably with the gfuel and probably screaming about the auditions + the Mata situaiton made Mouse a tribalfag against Zen and grabbed Ari, Henya and Michi. Zen huge mistake was acting upon this, because probably Mouse felt like a big fucking retard for believing VShojo this long.
