Yup, wanted the attention, the clout from the allusions and the control that comes with it but didn't really care about the person and the relationship itself because narcissists are incapable of empathy. Dooby even said it takes a lot for her to hate somebody, unless they mess with her friends. I don't fully buy into the "they hate each other" rrat but I do wonder what motivated her to unfollow Nimi.

I don't think they hate each other per say. But the only way to be free of a NPD is complete separation, no contact. If they have infected someone in your group of friends, you have to drop the friends too until the NPD inevitably reveals its true face as its switching supplies/friend group. But this can take a while. They are so charismatic, so kind, so perfect, so generous, it's hard to not fall under their spell especially when they're cute girls. They then take tremendous satisfaction in being the idol of the group and turning everyone against people they don't like and creating drama so they can swoop in and be the hero. Such an angel wouldn't lie, right ?
Dooby did the smart thing. Nimi has all the signs and all the history of it. They absolutely destroy people from the inside and make them doubt themselves, feel isolated. What happened to Promise makes a lot of sense now.
