Kiara heard about this from her chat and asked Pekora directly to white list her, which Pekora proceeded to instantly do. Fauna's chat then kept telling her about this during her next stream but she completely ignored them.
From what we know now it's obvious she was throwing her colleagues and management under the bus because she didn't want to say she couldn't stay up to play Minecraft because of her more important nocturnal activities.

I think they generally do a very good job with auditions and picking talents who they know will mesh well. It also helps that they have a massive pool of people to pick from, and that each gen has a few months of training where they spend time together to ease them in.
