Not mentioning other streamers without context IS the known etiquette, but raid requests/recommendations is kind of on a gray zone.

As for the VShojo part:
- Kson's contract was that for sponsorships or con appearances she would get 100%. But it turns out VShojo (US) got the offer, then took a percentage out, and then brought the offer to VShojoJP pretending that the reduced amount was the real full amount.
And she found out that VShojo quoted the company inviting her to events not only cost for the staff that supported her, but also of staff who went there for leisure.

Highgai:
- He was told 2 hours before the announcement that VShojo has no money and that he's fired.
- He didn't know the talents weren't paid, nor did he have any insights into how much talents earned anyways
- He confused what he really worked for, because he thought he was working for the talents

Tldr: VShojo lied even more to JP talents and staff.

Chat needs to understand that they can't help her.
The job is to make her not feel awful about herself, help will have to come from a professional

So far, JP staff continue to appear fairly innocent. Maybe not free of scorn (couldn't they have asked more questions?) but they weren't maliciously complicit in the financial mistakes or the coverup.

The big reveals seems to be that even though Kson was supposed to get 100% of certain deals/promotions (and this was in her contract). At some point, VShojo (I assume the US, as they controlled the money) unilaterally set aside a percentage of what she was due, and labeled it as being for "projects", even though it was breaking the terms of the contract. My JP can't follow 100%, but it seems like the way they reported to Kson meant she thought the lower number was the full 100% of what she earned, and didn't realize they took this stealth "cut" until she started scrutinizing their numbers recently.
So the "Ferrari" amount is actually LESS than they actually owed her.

They make jokes to cope a bit, but TL;DR it's more fucked up than even thought.

So basically, Vshojo gave a contract so good that once money dried up they figured out that those contracts were really bad for the company. If vshojo didn't claim they had 11mil in funds I would still defend the company even if they clearly did breach the contract but a company gotta make profit someway. 100% on events is ridiculous

It's a ridiculous contract (kson and highgai also say that), but there's no defending breaching a contract. There is also no defending of quoting the sponsor costs that were not work related. They basically scammed sponsors to pay private vacations.

The right thing to do is to negotiate a contract change and be transparent. Because this is about trust and transparency, not money.

Yes. They were financially idiotic, and financially irresponsible, and did not seem to be self-aware about either. It seems like they didn't bother noticing how bad their own contracts were until an inexcusably late hour.
I am co-owner of a business, and we have made some mistakes over the years, but I can't imagine lying like this to try and "fix" anything. Lying doesn't fix accounting. You fucked up? You make a plan, but part of that plan is (1) tell the truth, (2) tell it fast, (3) move on to the "fixing" part, regardless how painful that is.

That seems plausible. They modeled their finances like a high-growth tech company instead of a medium-growth talent agency, and reality caught up to them. Most tech VCs expect you to triple your valuation on an 18 or 24 month timeline in order to be on track for their goals (your goals be damned). And it's hard to get new investors to believe in you when you haven't met the goals of your current investors.

It isn't uncommon for companies of this small-to-medium size to be nearly insolvent, but then (in other industries for example) get some new big client that allows them to survive for a while longer. It gives leadership the hope that they can turn things around, if they can really "ride the momentum" or "capitalize on the new partnership", if they suddenly got five more big clients like that one.
But then they don't, and they just delayed death by a few quarters.
