If you're telling the truth, then my guess is that the staff was new or fucked up somehow. I'm pretty sure they clean those machines with solutions that contain chlorine as a disinfectant. They are supposed to flush them with water afterwards for a certain length of time, but maybe they hired some dumbass teenager and they didn't. At least that's my guess. Being real here the chlorinated chicken is a thing of the past. Like less than 10% of the chicken in America is chlorinated. That is because people got horrified with the practice so the industry now uses a mix of peroxide and vinegar on their baths because is considered more "natural". Do what you want with this info.
