But I'm not sure about that "tutoring" idea. Sounds a little bit too niche and risky, but maybe you can capitalize on it, I don't know. The torrents come with SRT files, right? You just need to edit those in a text editing program. Replace the names in the text with the ones you want, and then save the file. Load it like you would any other SRT file when viewing a video.

Good job and, spoilered because it might not be the most brilliant of ideas, but if you get offline content going, try to publicize yourself in your local schools and such, in order to get objectively the best audience you can. Even if the goal of vtubing is partial anonymity, there are ways to work around the idea of getting some posters in school and such, even more if you propose it to the teachers themselves and not just students, in our high-school we had multiple free tutors get directly put in the spotlight because they talked with the principal, so maybe it can also work as well in your case if you approach the institutions!

Also, I don't really find where to fit this in all that we said so far, so it goes on its own line: Try to do youtube only at least for a while. There are many channels with free tutoring, and the best growing ones have dozens or hundreds of videos always available to watch. The same thing applies here, if you can gather enough easily accessible classes and quick explanations about multiple concepts, leave those videos, and let the algorithm do its magic you will see that the time invested in offline content will pay more than the one used for going live. Tutoring is a more offline sort of practice, anyone can still grow while being strictly live and nothing else, but the difference in terms of objective growth once you compare stats becomes self-evident; it is only to your own detriment to follow the path of only livestreaming.

Thanks for feedback :) I am also worried about my stream devolving into oddkast but I think the phone verification for chatters will help a lot since it is much easier to spoof emails than phone numbers. Excellent point! It seems that clipping helps. For some weird reason, my instagram clip got 113 views overnight. I don't know how or why but that seems to be the secret sauce to gaining viewers, maybe.

I dig it and understand, but it seems like times changed since covid. When I asked around why no one does not do in person tutoring anymore, it's because teens and college students seem afraid of strangers. Also libraries in my area, even the college ones, are only open for a scant few hours and there really aren't any available "third spaces" for in-person tutoring anymore. My best bet is someplace like the boys & girls club, but sadly their hours of operation conflict with my schedule. Maybe things will change back to how it was someday, but it has not yet. :(

Why not both? Not sure if it was you or someone else, but I was given the great idea to have a script. So doing a livestream of a tutoring lesson as a script seems like it'll solve a lot of my issues since I also upload streams to youtube.

I kept all my work on the model so I can try to fix it up sometime in the future. At the moment a lot of the expressions and eye/mouth combinations work because it is such a simple model and can obfuscate a lot of extra deformers or switchs that would be needed to swap from smile to frown to pout. I'll consider this feedback, nonetheless.

From my experience, a follow back on Twitter is late in the pipeline of getting to know someone. Hanging out in their chat and servers is how you get to meet the people who actually stream/watch streams. Check out enough people and you'll find some you click with.
