I can't speak for everyone by any means but from the few livers who have spoken about the situation in en.
Staff actively works against people who want to do the same stuff as JPs. Staff also are notorious for letting perms expire on things like covers before getting back to livers but making livers pay literally thousands of dollars to commission things for the covers before they send them.
People will get angry when you bring this up but they don't even have animated shorts for en, Selen was the one who had to commission people to start making the animated shorts because instead of punchisanji en we got punchiluxiem and that died after like 10 episodes.
Reimu talked about how meetings with staff where people suggested things like more original songs, more concerts or conventions almost always ended in yelling matches and tears.
Rosemi has causally mentioned things multiple times about staff denying her things like music perms for karaoke, live bungee jumping footage (something a jp did btw) and other stuff like RPG maker games and streams.
She also mentioned at one point that they didn't want her to do things like her arg or Rosemi Night Live because it wasn't profitable to them. Several ideas for streams that she's done have been one offs because after the stream staff would tell her she wasn't allowed to do more of that type of content.
Merch has been shit since before the takeover, anniversary merch used to be good at least but for the past few years merch went from higher quality stuff like tapestries, and towels and the like to acrylic stands and buttons.
Outside of the girls even fuuchan mentioned that the reason he chose to leave was because whenever he had an idea for a story or something like that and wanted to give it to his fans, he was met with a resounding "NO" even after tweaking it.
Aia has mentioned that she's fought with staff over getting her fans free merch that they can make themselves since Niji isn't willing to provide anything for her and her fans.
Rosemi hasn't even had a full time manager since overture
Even though Luxiem as a unit gets a lot, individually outside of Shu, they get hardly anything.
Vox was one of the first en livers to reach a million subs and at the time, one of the few in the en sphere to reach that in general, reaching it before most if not all members of council, he made NijiEN/Nijisanji several million dollars from merch, superchats and streamlabs but couldn't even get management to help with stuff like the Demon Hungers and had to pay out of pocket for all of it and then we know how that went.....
Overall en gets treated slightly better than id or kr but several livers have said the same thing, that staff is completely uninterested in doing anything to help them.
