For vtubers this is a nothingburger. They already need to provide payment information to google in order to get their ad revenue/superchat money and that payment information would already be traceable to dox them (or worse) if it was leaked in a data breach.

I dont really think they will be exempt for long. There will come a point where to even get on the internet youll need to provide ID. Yes there will be massive data leaks. No this will not stop them from pushing it. Its about control and surveilance, not privacy. Besides you can see all governments around the world are taking notice of porn and vidya used for escapism, vtubers fall under this category too. They hate them for obvious reasons.
