I know this is a bait thread, but everything about this concert got fucked. First scalpers bought a ton of tickets, including in-community scalpers, then they started the whole auction thing and now a lot of people (me included) can't get their visa approved in time because of the stricter checks the orange retard brought upon us. I know 4 people personally who had to sell their tickets because of visa shit and there are another 100+ on the fancords having to do the same. Even some high profile fans had to cancel because of it.

Cover made some huge mistakes not only by having a wave of 4 EN graduations but also treating them horribly when they left. They rushed out graduations, refused to offer the Cover studio to record graduation lives, and cancelled merch in a way that was clearly meant to hurt them for leaving Hololive. What makes it worse is that management only did that on the EN side while giving luxurious 3D lives to the JP graduations. That made it harder to shill the next EN concert since it depends entirely on the goodwill of fans and costs a minimum of several hundred dollars to attend. While it won't be a Nijisanji level disaster they will have a lot of empty seats for both days. The golden age of HoloEN was in 2021/2022 but it doesn't look good when they can't sell out their concert in 2025. Cover will likely drop back down to a 3000 seat venue for their 2026 concert.

It's pretty well known that Ticketmaster has been working with scalpers since forever. They even have programs to assign tickets to scalpers before the events' tickets were available.
If the "official" scalpers (those who work with Ticketmaster) fail to sell their scalped tickets, they can return some of those tickets and Ticketmaster will put them up on the next wave of sales together with possibly opened up tickets by organizer - the "additional ticket" in this case. This happened in almost every Ticketmaster's events and is pretty noticeable since those seats tend to be clumped up in groups.
It sucks but nothing much you can do with how Ticketmaster has a very strong grip on event ticket sales in the US. Refuses to work with them and a lot of event venues become unavailable for you

No, but throwing all of her membership streams in the dumpster not only hurt Mumei it also hurt Mumei's fans. There was no real benefit in deleting her membership content and cancelling her nendo. The only thing management did was burn away much goodwill from EN fans only a few months before having to shill a 6000 seat concert. Even for a Japanese company that was arrogant. Hololive is built on their brand name and they made some Nijisanji level mistakes in 2025 that have given fans more reason to be cynical.
