IRyS started off as a solo vsinger, singing Japanese songs that were made for her to sing by the management at the time. She then decided to stream because they allowed her to (initially they just wanted her to sing and nothing else, streaming a lot was not expected of her) but she did both EN and JP. A lot of her favorite EN songs are old and she is very much aligned with all things Japanese in general since she has lived there since forever now. While she is an "EN", she is truly more for the people that stay up late over in the US or other EN speaking regions, but mostly she streams at early Japan time as well.

What I'm saying is that she is more of a JP than an EN, and has been for quite some time now. Naturally, people overlook her because they don't hear much about her to begin with, she's active during times when most of the EN fanbase isn't watching. And even if they are, they might click on her stream and immediately hear her speaking Japanese for a long time to her JP viewers. Fuwamoco are also doing that because they are true weebs that want to become biologically Japanese. Bae did that too. If you're Hololive """"ENGLISH"""" but most of your music is all in Japanese then it kinda makes people not care about how good you are of a singer. But to be fair in terms of the music, most of the lyric writers they get for english songs are bad and also they can't cover any famous or popular EN songs because the music industry is super jewish and satanic so it's just impossible for them, no one can fight that. So technically, ERB, Nerissa and Mori are the most "EN friendly" even though Mori is also an extreme JP panderer.

Gura was a major factor in popularizing singing in Hololive, from her debut and her unarchived karaokes, bringing in 200k live viewers.
Anons forget that Cover's singing branches were flops, and even Suisei didn't get popular until much later, after switching to Hololive. Though record labels help.

It's not the ability to mimic a song, but adding their own flair, arguably better than the original.

Probably because they don't watch her. The type to faun over Nerissa and Liz are kind of on the opposite side of the EN fandom spectrum compared to IRyStocrats. From a technical skill standpoint IRyS is the best singer in HoloEN.
