Vesper didn't leave because he got a model redesign he was fired while attempting to get one for Kronii. Cover invests a lot in building up their character brands so they hate giving out model redesigns. They occasionally agree to a new design for the guys but it has been extremely rare in Hololive. Kaela was the first optional redesign since IRyS and the only reason management gave one to IRyS was because of low merch sales. The other major redesigns were because of the Taiwan yab.

this is the 3rd generation of Kawaii, This girl with the spear organized a protest against kawaii, stopped all streams and got all her genmates to join her, made a bunch of demands, the corpo agreed to everything and they still left anyways with a 1 week notice, only took them 2 weeks to redebut as "indies" with multiple assets and models made (most of them copying the Kawaii designs)
