Hololive fans don't lose anything when members who hate Hololive stop leeching off the ones who contribute. The only possible losses in your list are people who effectively retired years ago but were very relevant in 2020 so they have nostalgic value but should have probably left then. Hololive was abnormal for never letting anyone graduate for so many years and it set up unrealistic standards.

What obvious damage control to say that vtubers are great entertainers when they work for Cover but are worthless leeches the second they quit. Did you even watch Ame, Fauna, Mumei, and Gura? The reason that so many EN fans are sad is because fans miss them and the creativity they brought to Hololive. No one expects Cover to behave like a charity but most, if not all, of the EN graduations could have been avoided. They refuse to compromise with their talents so more of them are leaving. The unrealistic standard is expecting fans to buy thousands of dollars of digital goods in HoloEarth, including virtual acrylic stands which sounds like something from a comedy skit, when the talent might vanish a year from now. Hololive is falling into the same arrogant mindset as Nijisanji because management believes the brand name alone is all the company needs.

Nobody actually cares about the opinions of you schizos, they reply to you as a courtesy in the hopes you can see reality for it is. You want people to be trapped in this one workplace forever, even if nobody else wants that. Why? Who does it benefit? You realize they are all humans who had previous workplaces, right? That they all abandoned friends that their fans liked them being around. That some of them have real lives they want to escape and others want to prioritize their real lives over the Internet. Hololive shouldn't have prevented anyone from graduating for so many years because it led to deranged schizos like you who thought "well as long as these people are members on paper, it's like time has never progressed at all!". The two terminations (despite the fact they involved the least popular and the most hated member) are far more of a blow to Hololive than all of the graduations combined. As long as you are allowed to still like the person and remember them, that's healthy and anything else is schizoid shit where these real people are your dolls that have to do exactly what you want forever.

No, I wanted Cover to compromise with them so they could have stayed in Hololive. Fauna and Mumei had obvious contract issues but they clearly would have liked to stay if things had worked out with management. Sana even made that clear in her final streams almost 3 years ago so this has been a huge flaw with Cover for years that has only grown worse.

>>103713293
>Hololive shouldn't have prevented anyone from graduating for so many years
That is damage control and they are having graduation waves because management has grown more arrogant. Yagoo is not a sexist villain laughing at women being forced to dance in skimpy outfits but he is a typical cold Japanese CEO. He barely cares about Hololive and his only concern for the EN branch is merch sales.

>>103713293
>where these real people are your dolls that have to do exactly what you want forever
Why do you think so many of them had those mysterious "health" and hiatus breaks? Shion went on a 7 month break and only after that did she make her indie vtuber account. I blame Cover since they could have done more and many of these talents reluctantly decided on graduation. I don't expect Hololive to be a charity but with this many graduations there is cause for skepticism.

You don't need good or delicious food to survive. The most basic home made food is enough (bread, rice, vegetable, etc.).
Unless you are one of the very rare ones who eat only the basic, the money you spent on "expensive" (relatively) ingredients, or eating out - be it a restaurant or a cafe / diner - is of little difference from spending on virtual merch (including gacha). If anything, virtual merch lasts at least months or years, while good food lasts only up to 72 hours before you fully digest everything.

A new feature has been added that allows users to create and accept quests themselves. It seems that clearing quests from Hololive talents will reward players with special items.

Talents with models implemented for Holoearth will now have voice chat functionality, along with face tracking and motion tracking capabilities.

A co-viewing area is being added. Also, during the β€œFubuki Advent Festival” on August 28, there will be a viewing test for the Yamato Fantasia Live.

Athletic building materials are being introduced, enabling construction with a certain degree of action-based gameplay.

Many other updates are also included.

Honestly, falling in the rabbit hole saved me over 10k per year that I'd normally spend on Gacha on phone games and MMOs. Thankful for that. Nowhere close to buying merch. Since I don't build shrines, most of my oshi's merch is unopened in a full closet.

>None of the breaks are mysterious
Calling them mysterious was meant to be ironic. A 7 month "health" break followed by her RM creating an indie vtuber account and than graduating from Hololive would make sense if they were failed contract negotiations. Shion was actually one of the best examples of someone leaving Hololive because they hated their vtuber design. Sana would be the second best example and she began fighting with management by her second month. Cover in early years could hide contract disputes but in 2024/2025 they became far too numerous.

>Most of the non-graduated members have had "health" and hiatus breaks.
Having constant "health" breaks, or completely vanishing for months, is suspicious for a vtuber. If the negotiations go well the contract disputes can be settled (Ina and Laplus) but in other cases they end with graduation (Sana, Gura, Ame, Aqua, Chloe, Shion, etc).

That is a strawman and never said that every health break is heated contract negotiations but it's highly suspicious when talents have an increasing number of health breaks and/or they completely vanish for months. If the talent than makes a graduation announcement over management disagreements than there is a really good chance they had nothing to do with health. That is especially true when several months later they debut as indie vtubers.

>>103729147
>Do they hate their designs? Do they hate being "coombait"?
Shion, Flare, Ina, Sana, Kronii, and Kaela were the Hololive talents that got stuck with sexualized designs they hated. Obviously though what causes a graduation will vary depending on the specific talent. Mumei talked about how much she loved her default outfit and cloak only a few days before her graduation.

Cover isn't going to confirm that talents are leaving Hololive over contract disputes since that would only damage the brand name. That is especially true for someone like Shion that had the worst pedobait design in Hololive and even in Japan denying her a model redesign would look bad for the company. Cover has obvious financial motivations for keeping their fights a secret and why they are reluctant to lose sleazy designs because they want to sell coombait merch.
