A lot of people think vtubing, and streaming in general is easy. Which it is, if you're sociopathic enough to not care when people say mean shit about you.
If you don't have this trait it's constant chip damage to your mental that can drive people (especially women) crazy over time.
If you look at some of the biggest streamers you'll see they're actually happy when they have a group of antis spreading shit about them, because it's content. That's not normal human behavior.

Remember - quantity matters vastly more than quality. You don't care if people get pissed - for every 9 people that screech and shit their pants about spamming here, there's 1 who's going to check out your stream to see what all the fuss is about. Get as many eyes as possible on your stream; expect 99% of traffic to leave bored. That 1% will stick around, though, and that's how you build an audience at the start. Later on, it's by collabs.

Anyway, you can do it. Please. I really want that model to become popular and for there to be boatloads of PORN MADE OF IT.

She was never going to succeed at that. She had lightning in a bottle with VA and told most of her fans to fuck off in no uncertain terms. DFE'd her old channel, too, meaning she went from over 1000 CCV to just over 100, after losing followers steadily for four years.
Never collabed much outside of the first few months, almost skipped streams, never updated her schedule anyway, and her mods banned new chatters from chatting even if they dropped a sub to say hello. She speedran the destruction of her channel and finally had the Final Spergout. She'll likely be back, but she'll be lucky if she can get over a hundred CCV now.

Yeah she did Va from about 2017 to 2020, then privatized every video for 6-12 months before making them public again. She put all her eggs into vtubing, bought the $1k rigging from Omochi, changed her entire personality (maybe SSRIs), ditched her friends, and even then she didn't commit. In 2023 she fucked off for about a month for a "project", which was likely a bf. Eventually after four years of it in early 2025 she quits that, too. So she's quit twice now. She deleted all her VODS on YT, archived nothing, and just did boring streams or crappy games, occasionally getting angry at chat, getting political and treating it like a friend hangout with her mods and regulars.
It was fucking depressing.
But also comfy.
Hard to explain.
I miss her, even if she was a bitch sometimes.

pixievalkyrie streams are archived on youtube under two channels: mothman archive and flower archive. i shan't link them because it gets into Pl stuff and i know it's risky, but that'll show you all of her streams with superbutterbuns, clemps, sphere hunter suzi, cullen, talesofcreed, kzexcellent, and some other annoying people. not sure why her twitch and youtube had different channels. just search for the pixie one or for the channels on their own. hope this helps bro
