The results are in! The new players joining the team this league are: It's flat earths all the way down, Forced Interdimensional Exploration, and suspiciously advanced railway. Unfortunately, that means we must say goodbye to The oceans belong to Marine!, /vt/ Worldbuilding: the General - the GAME!, and legacy player The Legendary Lost Kingdom of Fish Pajeets.
In other divegrass news, we are now accepting submissions for things like emotes, billboards, chants, goalhorns, etc. If you have any ideas you'd like to contribute then now's the time. Otherwise, get ready for /vt/ League 9 to kick off in a few weeks. See you all there!

I set out writing lore for the origin of the Morbs and wound up talking about Cytube. Funny how that kind of thing works out sometimes.
https://rentry.org/ctube-performances
One thing that may need after-the-fact changing is the word "apothnitosis". I'm not fluent in Greek, so I don't know if it's a legitimate word. I just found "cessation of divinity" to be clunky and wanted to use a simpler term to describe a chuuba graduating and not reincarnating, so I took apotheosis and replaced the word for god with the word for mortal. If anyone here has an alternative, I'm all ears.
In the meantime, I've updated /who/'s lore hub to include the lore snippets from the last thread that I didn't tag to the anchor, and I also added a few unstarted items to that glorified checklist. The reason they weren't anchored is because there's more to write on those topics, so I'll be revisiting those points in the future.
The Hoosmoot rentry could also use some work. I'll likely change the order of a few paragraphs to make it flow better and also include the "50-100 Aves" line somewhere. I'll likely also remove all mentions of Skals other than the first one to reduce repetition.

Hello everyone. It is me from /vnug/ and holy fuck I haven't been posting here. Finally some time off to at least say a few things.

First of all I think that /vnug/ has definitely changed since vnugboi wrote about it. We kind of had a mass graduation where almost all of gen 3, 1 girl in gen 4, and even 2 of the OG girls decided to quit so how would that be represented in lore? I ask this specifically because I don't believe most corpo generals talk about PL's but we do openly with 0 fucks given. So any ideas for how that could be a thing for worldbuilding? I feel the need to ask this since I believe vnugboi is a palkyrie and Liora was one of the girls to quit.

The other thing is our war or at leas raid attacks with /corpo/. We definitely have a rivalry with them and they do talk about our girls at times so maybe we could do a thing with them. I mainly wanted to ask vnugboi about this but that would be assuming he is even still here and I know that he is definitely ok with me contributing. But I do like to ask anons about things so again, what do you all think of this?

The last thing I want to mention is that my DND sessions with the autists will begin again for another 6 week contract starting next Friday and I decided to put vnug directly above /risu/. This is where /towa/ is and I really didnt see a lot of lore for them but if anyone has a better place then by all means feel free to make suggestions.

Now if you will excuse me my cock is hard and I am going to have sex with my latina kamioshi

I didn't get any conclusive response itt about cytube when I made my initial post a few weeks back, so I just made an assumption based on what happens in them and never checked the doc. My bad, probably should have followed up.
Hopefully it shouldn't matter too much, what with the different nations having different technology levels. If airplanes were considered a pipe dream in the days of the Republic, there's no way /who/ after Her thnitosis would have the infrastructure for televisions.
That reminds me: I haven't really established what level /who/'s technology is at. I don't have the time to provide anything thorough on it right now, but I can air out what I have in my mind regarding it. I did go into this with the idea of it being at around "colonial America" levels, but the mental image I've had has gradually morphed into something closer to the wild west (similarity to /haha/'s hypothesized culture in the previous thread not intended).

>apothnitosis
I like the sound of that, always nice to get a new neologism. Plus it's something that does happen occasionally so it can be used more.
The C-tubes are a great way to do this phenomenon, has a real community feeling. Everyone loves a weekly mass. /morig/ has deadbeat priestesses relaying the voice of the Goddess by being possessed by the Holy Ghost essentially, and their soothsayings are written down and repeated or distributed in a variety of ways, often with songs.
>>103760106
There's been an interesting phenomenon where the taboo for talking about PLs has been progressively eroding more and more both on and off 4chan. Back around myth's debut, instant bans for talking about PLs felt obvious, but now we have stuff like /ggg/, /uuu/ and /awdat/ being openly about both. I think all the big corpo graduations are probably why this happened, Dokibird's in particular had a bit of a curtain call effect in connecting identities.
In the past we've represented stuff like graduations with political troubles, mass exoduses, or magical catastrophes of sorts, but I guess that depends on how impactful the event was on the function of the thread. I wonder where vnuganon finds himself now that liora and that ghost VNU girl have graduated.
It'd be fun to place /corpo/, they have been strangely relevant with all the turmoil in the bigger corpos collapsing.
Looking forward to more DND!
>>103760151
I've been treating /morig/'s tech as being like, basically medieval in terms of strict science, but with magic allowing some more advanced things, like magic letting stuff like fridges or self-propelled ships happen, magical beast pulling carts as big as trains, and I guess since there are some large cities there are probably some airship aerodromes in places. I think deadbeats would have the view that they'd rather use magical solutions to problems since it lets them connect more deeply to their divine.

it didnt really affect it at all. Like we just didnt give a shit. Serafi was the exception to this, she caused a fucking storm. But once the mass grads started going off we just treated it like a normal thing.

Bigger issue is that the island is quite rocky, so it's hard to find good soil. Near settlements they can probably work on creating soil by mixing sand with compost and grow some potatoes (and other crops), but it'll be difficult to make huge fields.

It's a strange thing for anthropomorphic citizens. Conventional pets and even exotic ones do exist. As for teamates and regular crcodylia, as normal aligators and crcos exist, they are more treated like primitives in the eyes of the citizens of /awat/ as they did not evolve like they did. Researches are wondering what caused this branch off their genus. Though the population of non-teamtes is still low compared to the population at large and its more of them seeing crocdylia in other nations and how they act

Owls are highly revered in /who/. It is considered good luck to have one perch in your birdhouse. A common superstition is that if an owl leaves a feather in your birdhouse, replace one of the ones on your hood with it and you will live four more years.

Since the RM's are openly discussed, it makes sense that they would be portrayed as direct reincarnations of their previous deific selves. The worshippers would likely keep the same rituals and ceremonies in their honor but acknowledge their new identities without any fuss.
>vnugboi
When I went to /who/ to be accepted as new rep, the OG /who/rep was still around, just in the Tower (wasn't interested in getting involved again). Might be worth making a "/vtwbg/ post, ignore/hide if bothersome"-prefixed post checking to see if vnugboi is still around. You might be surprised.

I've been trying to stay away with involving inactive nations myself, but since this and the question of taking /towa/'s place both seem to involve the Vitubia setting I have no personal objections to either.
