Well for one, it aired when half of the fans of the Justice with the highest average CCV were mostly asleep, and it being a pre-recorded collab meant waiting to watch the VOD wasn't a big deal.
There's also a non-zero fraction of fans of 3 of them who just don't watch anything with Liz. Might not be significant but it's a thing.

The EN graduations did lower numbers but it's mostly the age verification system that YouTube has implemented in the United States. They want users to cough up their real world identity or government ID to stop wrongthink. Hololive sold all their EN concert tickets in 2023 with a 6000 seat venue while they couldn't do that in 2025. The graduation wave did hurt them and they have lost fans over 2 years. They have many casual fans but they won't spend money on idol concerts.

Imagine my shock when viewers prefer to watch vtubers who stream regularly, rather than those who spend their time on recording performances for live events they can't attend in person or don't want to pay $150 for the privilege of watching them online. The hard focus on idolslop will be the biggest mistake Cover ever makes. It's already cost them several popular talents who didn't want to deal with the permissions bs and the need to continual record new performances every 3-6 months.
