As far as I understand:
1. People were for some reason FUDing really hard about "real" scalpers hoarding all the tickets and fucking over the fans
2. A counter-initiative was made where fans would hoard the tickets themselves and resell to other fans (without price gouging)
3. The Baecord went full unhinged holo-anti saying they were gonna hoard all the tickets specifically for Brrats even comparing it to a "war" against the other fanbases. Delusionally they believed themselves to be heroes for beating "real" scalpers
4. Since none of them have any idea about supply and demand, they bought WAY too many tickets while most other fans just simply bought their normal tickets through ticketmaster
5. Now they sit on 500 tickets and cry about not being able to sell them even at reduced price

I believe there were other fan resellers who honestly just wanted to fuck over scalpers and help the fanbase, but the Baecord and their retarded behavior made huge news in a bad way. So a lot of people think the only resellers are those brrat faggots who deserve what they got. In the end I don't even know if any of this shit was at all necessary because at no point did "real" scalpers seem like they were a threat (I could be wrong).

They sold well, thousands more than Breaking Dimensions, but not full house well. It's probably not wise to go with the same venue next time, but going back to BD size could be too much of a downgrade. Not having it for a year would also increase hype for the next, with more time for new people who didn't get the chance to go to a concert yet to join and look forward to it. Skip 2026, coming back in 2027 with a Hololive USA EXPO along with the concert and a new EN gen to go with it would probably be the best way to blow up.

Two factors
1. Holos themselves told fans to not engage with scalppers and just buy streaming tickets if they can't get an IRL one (which is smart considering the lionshare of profit made off concerts is via streaming)
2. These dumb asses in fancords overestimated the amount of people who willing buy a ticket off some random guy they've never met before via discord DMs, as opposed to just using Ticketmaster's built-in resell feature

My 2 cents:
I hate cons and IRL grifters but somehow got a free pass for the last day of ANYC in 2022. Missed the fauna event (I'm a sapling) and could only attend the bae event.
Ran into an asian brrat at the Holo event who offered to hang with me after, drove me around and showed me a bunch of cool shit.
I check my DMs and turns out it's saltedbread the same guy who scalped the tickets.
He's an idiot for doing this but he's not a bad guy at the end of the day. He shouldn't have antagonized other fanbases but he genuinely wanted to prevent scalpers from getting the tickets.
