Well, iirc, her family DID know she was a vtuber, so if she DID die then I'd wager they just didn't know the passwords to tell everyone (provided she DID die and isn't waiting until she's recovered her speaking abilities after treatment).

i feel you, found her like 3-4 months before her hiatus. She quickly became one of my most watched chuubas, although mainly just through VODs

I feel like in this case someone in her family would make a post from their own account announcing her death. I think a similar situation happened with another vtuber where they didn't have access to her account so a friend posted something. Surely she has friends in the vtubing community she keeps up with?

Her chat did cross the line from banter to bullying at times, but she usually handled it pretty well. At least publicly. Privately who knows. I've heard of chuubas having a mental breakdown because of chat bullying before.

I wonder how many vtubers there are that have died. Can't be a huge list. I feel like there should be a wiki page for deceased vtubers if there's not one already and Yuy should probably be on there as her death seems highly likely at this point. I just wish her dad or sister or something would confirm it so we'd know for certain.
