Indie means they get 100% of the profit from anything they do but a lot more behind the scenes work to get things done themselves. This is how they can get by on being smaller streamers compared to when they were in Hololive only getting a percentage of what they earned publicly but having someone else manage their merch miscellaneous admin tasks.

Nimi is not "getting by." Having multiple thousands of viewers every stream is not "getting by."
You can go full-time as a streamer at 300CCV, and some do it even lower than that. I know one who's doing it with 250.
Pulling 10x+ this much per stream puts you in the 1% of the 1% of streamers.
