People clip because it makes the streamer happy. Set the example yourself, post clips of yourself on Twitter and people will understand that's what you want to see, then when they do it, engage with lots of praise.

I already post my own clips on twitter, have done for about a year and they do okay, I should've mentioned that. I don't want to be pushy because I appreciate that people clip at all, but I've dropped a few hints by saying things like "i'm okay with you reposting my clips!" or "I'd love to see you reposting my clips anywhere you want!" but nobody has done it yet

If you have a few close simps you can confide in them that you feel bad that nobody wants to post clips of you and hopefully they pity you enough to start doing it themselves which will kick start the others too as well, but it's very much an organic process unless you get lucky enough to be a muse for a clipper who stumbles upon you.

I started multistreaming like 2 weeks ago (after using my YT channel for VOD storage and YT Short uploads for like 2 years) and the only time I saw a spike in viewership was when streaming Ace Attorney or the weird PSP Evangelion game. Assuming adequate tracking, what would /asp/'s thoughts be on a 3D vtuber who predominantly makes videos of themselves playing music (singing and instruments) with mocap gear on? Like if I were to record myself playing different parts of a single piece, and then put them all into one video with each copy of the avatar performing together as a group.
I have no expectations of getting big either way (my tastes in music are too niche and/or sporadic to interest most people anyway) but it seems like a fun project.
