I've been hurt too many times and am scarred from it. Pillow admittedly feels different to the other vtubers and she has a much longer clean history with no signs, at all, of being anti-unicorn in her past and/or hating parasocial viewers. So many GFEs out there really fucking hate parasocial fans but they exploit the fuck out of them whilst hating them. It's so evil and I can't see why these women can't just be honest and nice to the people LITERALLY paying their wage. It might not have started that way for some of them, when they were just making videos for fun, but when it becomes their livelihood they start thinking more practically. Given what she's told us about herself, I believe that Pillow cares for us and that our support means more to her than it would to someone who was just trying to pay rent. But whatever she says, she's not your girlfriend, and you're delusional if you think that she isn't going to want the real thing at some point, if not already. If you continue to think that you have a personal relationship with her, instead of accepting that PillowDear is just a persona, you're going to be let down.

I understand developing feelings for Pillow. I think a lot of her true personality shines through the online persona she's developed; she's adorably sweet. But you can't get carried away, or you're going to get hurt. I think the lovey girlfriend roleplays (and that's just what they are) are nice, but I don't take them seriously or get attached to that version of her, because it's not real. That's not to say she's being deceptive or manipulative; that's just recognising the situation for what it is. I'm sure she does too.

Pillow has over 4 years of history of being insanely dedicated to her fans and her fans alone without being overly demanding from them. She has always loved piwwos long before she even came up with their name, long before she even considered becoming a VTuber.
