Why does it seem like every time a vtuber gets caught up in a scandal, like missing merch deliveries, there’s suddenly a health issue, a family emergency, or something tragic involving a pet? It’s starting to feel a little too common to be a coincidence.

I hope it's real because she absolutely deserves it.

bad shit happens to people all the time, but when there's extra stress on top they're more likely to crash out and overshare. most vtubers deal with a lot of life stuff privately and discreetly, the stress of this merch shit is probably the tipping point for them to say "sorry I am going through some other shit too" when they'd normally keep it to themselves.

It's not unusual to create a drama in hopes of capturing people's attention and turning them into future viewers, though I don't think that's the case with Henya.
