It definitely showed they're just another company and that the big happy place bullshit is just all talk. I understand they have to enforce NDA because otherwise they mean nothing, but straight up killing someone like that IMMEDIATELY is still fucked up. All the years she put in just vanish, poof, like that. No celebration, no goodbye, just gone. No company on this planet is your friend, no company is in favor of YOU the consumer or their workers. That's just not how the real world works and Hololive sells the image of Cover being a nice good-guy company when it very much isn't at all.
