Hololive En is "good" in the fact that it's more unified in one direction after getting everyone else who was not on board out.
But for the og fans that "lack of direction" was the "charm" of Myth. Everyone was trying to do their own thing to fill the market. They were each a "protagonist" in one way or another.
Now it feels either too "samey" or a "change in direction" to those old fans. And what brought on this "samey"-ness? one pov is that it's the need for more profitability to build bigger and better concerts. Holo JP similarly has this issue, except for the older members who have the funds to do unique stuff on their own.
