I can't follow ex-Holos to their next life, because they lose that special touch that Hololive gave them: Community.
And I am not talking about the fanbase, I am talking about other talents who care about you, frequently network with you and ask you to collab with them.
Now everything feels so uncertain, disconnected and vulnerable.

I do think it's funny when people say holo restricted their freedom to collab and yet as indies they stream the same way. Solo or a handful of popular girls. Saba is clearly very careful of who she collabs with and will likely never venture far out of it. Aqua's new persona barely streams and has been only doing solo streams. And she was the highest profile graduate in that group.

That is legitimately a reason why I like corpos and groups.
It allows for more varied personalities since the girls take roles within a group. Once you are solo you kinda end up becoming just generic streamer personality.

If it truly was a "little panic moment", it would have been announced much earlier, heck even before Saba's debut. There is no chance that Nimi was not aware of the plans considering she even was part of Dooby's IRL event. It was done purposefully knowing full well the consequences it would bring: attention on her when the attention was on someone else and cause distress to what she perceives as a threat to her attention supply.

This was a sad realization with Aqua. She was my oshi (by a wide margin), but leaving hololive and missing out on the collabs, stories, tweets, and stream/meme references with other members got rid of a lot of the magic. rabu yu onyon :(

Yeah. I switched to nijiEN at some point after Council’s debut with initial collabs. Then nijiEN graduations started, and I couldn't really watch any of them after because 1) Twitch, 2) lonely. Even for those who joined vshojo, it was not the same, it's more similar to having a selection of friends to collab with as an indie. I think "generations" are pretty important.
I switched back to holoEN after Advent’s debut. There were already some issues in niji, but I also liked them as a group. And they have FWMC, who are always together, and it turns every stream into a collab.
