Altare complained about management not even attempting to fix his Rokoko 3D suit and got a sudden 3 month "health" break. He was the first talent in Holostars to miss his birthday and maybe something else is going on with management. Contract disputes are hidden because of the Cover NDA though it usually only escalates this much on the Hololive side.

Cover is burning out a lot of talents recently so it sure feels like they are doing something wrong. When employees keep refusing to stream and/or are rage quitting eventually you need to consider that management is the root cause of the graduation wave. NijiEN is still worse but it's not a good sign that HoloEN is starting to resemble the worst remaining EN vtuber corpo.

it's not that simple. there is definitely a difference in EN management from the myth+council+tempus era compared to the newer advent+promise+justice era. Most of the people who quit are those brought in by the old management who couldn't agree with the direction of the new management, so they leave in droves but the rest who can adapt are cruising fine.

it's not fair to worry at the minor amount of talents who are struggling to adapt and not acknowledge the majority who are not. changing the management here will affect the remaining talents.

Cover has 2 sides to management. One side will do everything they can to make Holostars successful even if they are constantly pissing off the Hololive unicorns. The other side couldn't give less of a shit about the foreign talents and wouldn't care if half the EN branch was to quit in the next year. That is why management is so inconsistent with how they treat the EN branch. Yagoo is so focused on HoloEarth that things are starting to fall apart with Hololive.
