Hololive talents aren't a hive mind of course their tolerance for traveling to Japan varies depending on the individual. Reine never said they all love the mandatory concerts in Hololive she was only telling viewers that she is okay with it. Cover is finally giving HoloID their own concert of course she feels like defending management. Fauna though didn't agree and couldn't spend months traveling to Japan every year. That is more of a burden on HoloEN and Cover is now working on adding VRChat tracking to their 3D software. That will be 2 years too late for Nimi Nightmare but they clearly knew the mandatory Japan trips were eventually going to be an issue with other talents.

Talents are not 社員. At most, they are 契約社員 for the first or second year.

Most Japanese companies don't put you in the full benefits package roster that include things like maternity leave until you reach certain seniority (or in special circumstances). Especially if you don't actually live in Japan and don't pay taxes here. Why would they?

This purely speculation on my part, but considering how far away from anniversary Fauna was over 6 months vs Mumei 3 months. She wanted something cover didn’t want to agree with and pushed for the graduation. Mumei if timelines are a good indicator graduated around the time initial contracts were signed so hers was letting her contract expire and choosing to graduate at that time.
What that something was we might never know, but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to find out it was her trying to push to reveal she was in a relationship and have it be part of fauna lore. For the last year she also skipped out on going to fes and breaking dimensions so maybe that’s also a reason she just hated traveling.
