She did get fucked over and it was terrible, but going this far to try to replicate selen over a year later is just... jesus, girl. She actually had some good humor and the alien design itself was fine and could've just been rerigged. The tail always being visible and wiggling was already pretty good for a hook. Instead she spent who knows how long on a waitlist and who knows how much money to buy a discount selen model with a boob window.

The model itself is fine, but from what I remember about her, it doesn't fit at all with her speaking style or content.

the nimi model has clear superiority in some ways. her facial animation is more robust and responsive, the tracking is just a little more reactive than fauna's which, even though it was professionally made, somewhat stiff and derpy. however in terms of a standout, highly appealing and iconic design, fauna trounces nimi in every way: the more grounded nimi approach can't match fauna's surprising flexibility of customization and eclectic yet endearing style
of course fauna made nimi in somewhat ideal conditions and can afford to both be more subdued while improving where it mattered to improve; these conditions just can't be met be the average chuuba attempting the same thing at all

Default Fauna was for a long time criticized as a busy, weak design of her gen. It only grew on people as she became more popular thanks to her skills as an entertaining streamer, and goth Fauna being a near perfect design.
Goth/vampire/whatever Nimi will be the real test. Normal Nimi is fine, her boobies are big, frills are cute, legs are sexy. She only needs long hair and some refinement, and most importantly, people simply getting used to it (and being fair, but this one is never happening here)
