I don't know if it's only me, but since her 3D i'm happy to watch her using it so much, i was a bit worried she wouldn't use it during games because kartoffeln computer

As for me, her 3D model is so better than her 2D model (which was great anyway), it's so cute to see the movement of her eyes and how she moves her head to look at chat.

I think Hololive really cooked well with Justice 3D models, i can see the same even for other members, even Raora is so expressive and adorable in 3D.

You can do that in pretty much any of these kinds of games, it's not worth the hassle as you'll get enough currency playing normally. You can do it if you want items early on but you'll just end up with a lot of money without anything to spend it on later.

I haven't been paying that much attention to the map in this game, but one way to reduce the confusion is to make the map show if there's something missed in that area(The grey area in picrel for example)
Also the map design is sometimes intentionally confusing like picrel to establish a theme

so, about that "new item recontextualizes old areas" is basically a fetch quest: you see a door, you wander around until you found the key for that specific door and you back track to open it just to find another door till the end of the game. and that's not a good design imo

Not that it's a good metric to use in the first place, but Metroid Dread was also well received. Most genres have an oversaturation of slop to something even decent. Like roguelike deckbuilders.

I don't like Metroidvanias either, but it's mostly the platforming and combat aspects of them. I guess I just dislike platformers in general. But I enjoy the elements in other games, like in Dark Souls for example.

Yea been playing Silksong myself a bit. It's pretty good though they are repeating a lot of the mistakes from the first game with tedious enemy design. One boss I found early on took like 50 hits to kill and all it did was spit venom from above, the whole fight was just a boring loop of "poke boss, hide under platform, poke boss, repeat" with no real danger or challenge.

All this before you get even a single weapon or upgrade and the only reward was a single mask fragment... what were they thinking?

How long has it been since you played hollow knight? The 2 masks guys also come in pretty early, there's one big guy that protects the grub that does 2 mask damage to the right of forgotten crossroads I think and after you beat that false knight you enter city of tears where big knights do 2 damage. Sure most enemies start doing 2 damage after infection spreads but it's still pretty early in the game.

German has a lot of things that are hard to learn it's not a hard filter like kanji is for japanese but smaller stuff that you absorb naturally as a native but is hard to wrap your head around when you learn it.
