Everyone who was in it for 'immersion' and 'magic' was a weird tourist. Streaming has been around for almost 20 years, it'll be around for 20 more, avatars might become less popular but they're not just going to disappear.

Tons of them are already in their 30s and still enjoying the content grind and yapping. Even with that, as some retire or go indie, others pop up to take their place and cultivate a new audience. Plus the ones who go indie take their audience with them. Yeah, some will quit and have families, some will juggle raising families with streaming, others will decide against having families. There are tons of flesh streamers who have been raising kids while still making content too. Why should vTubers be any different than that?
