Indies lack that special touch that Hololive brings to talents.
The CGDCT experience cannot be complete without an environment like Hololive ensuring everyone keeps interacting with each other.
Stuff like the NYC trip is not something you can find outside of Hololive.
And even company-wide collabs like 7DTD have members expressing a degree of camaraderie observed nowhere else.

Indie friendgroups form without anyone forcing them, and I enjoy their streams more than I ever enjoyed hololive collabs largely because they don't need to worry about the audience taking things way too seriously like hololive fans often do

I don't get the angle you're going for.
People who make friends in school (years of mandated interactions) usually describe those friendships as the best one they've ever had.
Hololive is similar, it's a "all-girls school" type of experience, and the talents repeatedly stated the same thing.

Many hololive fans have certain expectations about the girls interactions with each other on stream that not everyone has. I think it might just be due to it being a company/brand in general, but there's a level of banter/ribbing they're generally not comfortable with from past observation

Hololive friendships are much more engaging, though. You constantly hear about other talents in and outside of collabs.
Even during zatsudan, other talents are constantly brought up to talk about recent experiences.

That's highly dependent on the closeness of the relationship.
However, you still have talents like Marine whose entire identity is based on bantering with everyone all the time.
