Probably VShojo that did it to boost the numbers of their brand, and seem like their viewerbases were growing. Not to mention, that it probably makes it look like viewers watching you is tied to the org, and not the streamer, should you join/leave.

Counterpoint to this is that lots of other non-org streamers and non-mythic streamers still got their view-numbers cut.

My bet is that Twitch probably looked at the shit that Kick was getting and chose to make an arbitrary number cut to all streams, until they actually make a system to figure out what is a bot or not. This, in order to appeal to advertisers.
