Watching through her vods every few months, it is kind of amazing how you can slowly hear her adjust and learn. She starts out in such a mumbly way that sounds so dead, but slowly she started to have a bit more energy, then better pronunciation, until she finally got into a groove and in general had more volume and brightness to her tone. Then she just got better and better at speaking and carrying herself. Even if not everyone likes the change necessarily, it’s definitely something that you can tell took a lot of work and practice and im proud of her

Her journey is so compelling to me. Knowing where she started in life and how hard she's worked to get where she is makes me so happy for her. The changes in her personality and content over her career reflect the progress she's made; even the music she plays on stream feels less timid and more optimistic now than it did a couple of years ago. Olive isn't really a VTuber per se, she actually has zero online presence aside from Pillow. Pillow just thought it would be nice if Olive could come on stream one day sometime last year - it was a pipe dream at the time, though. Pillow drew her model, and Olive rigged it. It was mostly for fun at the time; they most likely couldn't have imagined they'd ever live together like they do now. They especially couldn't have predicted that Olive would be a regular guest
