It is very faithful to the books/films, the authenticity is really its high point and you can tell the team that worked on it wanted to make it live and breath Hogwarts, but if you're either a casual fan of the series or not a fan at all, the gameplay can be a massive slog and the performance issues are difficult to look past depending on how bad they get.
