I mean but also, what do talent managers actually do other than get game perms? Is there that much bureaucracy involved?

I understand maybe they want to let the talent actually dictate what she writes down in her flavor of wordage and such, but an email or a DM reminding them of for a schedule or other task related things? Personal reports and reviews? I'm really confused of what it looks behind the scenes in terms of work division.

We don't fully know, because it's boring bureaucracy that no one publicly talks about unless they're doing something bad, or it's as a joke.
Most of it is probably BTS work that we don't visibly see (like dance lessons and meetings, for instance) and making sure that there isn't anything bad/unallowed happening (Think, for instance, most political things. Cover itself is fairly non-political, so anything said/done by the talents may end up portraying the actual company in a unwelcomed light.)
Schedules are definitely not something managed by, or at least as far as we're aware aren't managed by, the talent managers. Otherwise, there wouldn't be any long, unexplained breaks by the other girls that has happened prior. They probably do have a schedule, but for the actual company set dates.

One thing I know they (might) do is recommend official side projects and sponsorships to the talents. Depending on the talent, this can set apart a good and a bad manager: Mio talked about liking her current manager because after she says "no" to a project her manager will drop it, while previous ones might be more insistent to try and convince her to participate

My interpretation of what happened is this:

I gotta be honest outside of small detail here and there. What is there to tell ? We know a decent amount with the 3D debut in the 3D after talk, working on the song in the Wind up after talk, they already talk about the Thailand trip in the charity stream, the Fressia and AFO talk already done. And she did talk some part like how she got stuck in her apartment, that taxi guy who gave her candy etc when she did stream in Japan. Like I want to welcome home stream too but I don’t think there is going to be that much story that she didn’t tell.

I think a lot of holo R-18 artists are just tourists. If you don't have the spark of imagination that watching her streams gives all of us, there isn't a lot to inspire the average artist compared to Raora especially and ERB for coombait, and even Gigi who gets a cunny-adjacent buff and a couple of dedicated R-18 artists.
