Hello dear aspiring vtubers. I come to state in the name of a certain minority a few things:
• We have been experiencing some intense changes in the general thread quality due to reasons lately
• We have, in multiple occasions, observed how the sanctions that end up being delivered don't go to the main low quality posters, but rather they go to anyone who tries to call said posts out
• In the last threads, the people in charge have even left up and outright ignored all posts that even contained pornographic images and similar things that often lead to a ban in other boards
For these, and some other lesser important reasons, we have been slowly transitioning onto greener grasses over somewhere where the aspiring vtubers can be and talk about their things without as many issues. And we would like to invite (You) to also join.
Remember, asp cannot function if there is no one who cleans up the mess that some bad faith posters create, and this place already showed their stance in regards to such a thing!

This is my advanced scene switcher setup, setting up all the filters took a long time too.
To create the book that frames my streams where I can zoom in and out of the pages, have it open up and close, get all the different layered groups zoom in/out properly so i can stick in any new item in the scene in any group and have it just work, have my body either follow you in or be part of the page thats zoomed in on, or dip in and out, took a huge surprising amount of effort to get it to the point where it looks natural, I'm not sure if it was really worth it in the end given how it just fades into the background and so rarely matters to the actual content of the stream.
But all that said, I am happy that I was able to follow through on my idea, though the execution isn't quite perfect, getting all the different video clips to render consistently so the transition to one from the next is natural was far more of a pain than I thought it would be given practical file size limitations for obs use.
I actually lost all my advanced scene switcher setup at one point in dev due to obs update and had to recreate it all, luckily filters were still there so it wasn't the worst.

you’re right, that is difficult. it’s easy enough to say “don’t focus on the view count!” but the truth is that we all do it. my own advice would be to think of making videos as a learning experience. i’ve been trying to learn how to replicate my favorite chuuba’s shorts editing style recently. basically, make it a game where you try to make the most appealing content possible. if you think you’ve already hit that bar (i personally haven’t), try to do it faster. that way you’re focusing on a relatively achievable goal + improving as you go. viewership is important but it’s a really unpredictable metric as a smaller creator. just my personal experience!
