There's not really a question it will happen, the assumption it had to be annual was the unrealistic part. There was tons of prepwork that had to go into the first one and people might assume the second would be easier except there's new first-timers, theoretically people will all be in new classes and it's just a buggy game to begin with. There's a lot of things they'd probably like to be different the second time from a fun perspective that they'd have to figure out as well.

It's weird members would be getting nostalgic for the event if they were actively prepping it right now, that falls more into their general "avoid leaks" territory.

There's also the problem of changing roles for more than just the sidemembers in that the original HoloGTA was almost entirely shaped around the core members who were slotted exactly where their personality type needed them to be. It's kinda hard to imagine a lot of them in a different role (Subaru as non-cop, literally all of the gang members as anything else, Fubuki as anything more restrictive in her power or ability to play freely, Korone in a non-civilian role, Polka as anything but the reporter, Sora and Azki as anything but strippers, almost anyone else being the faction leaders that have to have many long meetings with Suisei and Miko, etc.) The mechanics would be the main faction that could be switched up I think because what mechanics became was entirely driven by their personalities rather than what mechanics inherently are, basically Okayu and Mio could swap roles. There's also people who could definitely switch factions no problem but probably not switch team members, which would result in probably a lot of the same stuff just in another faction. And aside from Justice being much more established and Flow Glow existing, most of the people who didn't participate were the graduates, the other members who didn't participate would likely use the same reasons for not participating again since they just don't like these types of games (Kaela, Kiara).

They could shine anywhere but I think because it was their first there was a bit of illusion at how much they were roleplaying. Most people were ultimately being themselves. Botan was a "bad" cop and she'd be a "good" criminal. Subaru was a "good" cop and she'd be a "bad" criminal. Fubuki was the only major faction head who had the time to really have her own independent storyline, the civilians weren't really a true faction so Mio was available as well. The head of the cops has to be someone whose willing to manage all these cops, the head of the criminals has to lead all the criminals. The mechanic faction is so small overall that its members basically have to be working all the time and make their storyline that. Honestly, it would get convoluted on their end and maybe isn't worth it but a lot of people would probably be better off being continuations of their old character but with a timeskip explaining any changes in role or status. That way some of the core people could still be where they are and others who were timid the first time could choose a role that's more interesting to them.

I'm shocked how few people went over to the collab overall. Is Miko's singing not as popular with 35P as I thought? It was a fun and cute stream.

I just thought it would be interesting to get totally unexpected combos (but with Holos I still like) but then again, a four-person group isn't the best thing for that. Like Ina or something. I tried to think of other members but actually most people are friendly with Miko outside of a few I don't have an interest in, so I guess the excitement would be in the combo. Well, some of it does come from stretching official connections that aren't necessarily real in the strictest sense. Like Azki and Miko's connection is being Gen 0, they don't actually interact and Azki hangs out more with the people outside Miko's circle. But I'm sure they'd have fun together. Kanata and Miko were close enough to have a lot ot fun with those radicon streams they did for each other but otherwise Kanata is also usually around those outside Miko's circle.

A lot of those are mutual circles more than Miko's circle.
I would say Suisei, Mio, Subaru as the actual factual inner circle. With Korone and Fubuki being her closest outside of that trio, but they tend to keep it more professional settings. Though Fubuki may actually be more than that these days too, she's hung out a lot with Miko offstream lately.
