Fauna, Gura, Mumei, and Sana are gone so it will never be the same but I do think Ame will return to Hololive before the end of the year. The affiliate deal was her method of having a long hiatus and Dooby has never even bothered to sell merch of her indie character. Also Myth building a bus stop in their last full gen collab didn't feel like Ame was taking a one way trip though with so many graduations it's easy to be cynical.

No, and Cover would never allow Dooby to join with her own model and they have invested too much into the Ame character. Suisei was the last vtuber to join Hololive with her indie model and that will never be allowed again since they are extremely cautious about copyright. Even when they let Kaela have a model redesign they were careful to only let her choose various options from a range of models that Cover had already made.

I feel Ame left as a sort of "last chance" to shake that feeling that was making her burnout and it failed If things changed she would come back because she obviously still loves Myth and the other EN Holos. Only thing that would stop her is probably not wanting to "abandon" Saba and Nimi at this point.

I don't even know where this is from. Myth/Council boomers didn't have 3D performances back then, and it wasn't even common from the JP side. I always saw 3D stuff as a nice treat, not a selling point. I mean if I asked you to sell your oshi now, you wouldn't say it's because of her 3D performances.

There's some retards who would say the 3d performances are the selling point, even if for most of the talents they make up 1/100th of their content. It's a garnish on the plate, something nice to look at and appreciate, but not for repeated consumption.
