I'm glad both Eliza and Eliot survived. And out of like 30 people only 3 died(5 if you count NPCs), and DMs considered this a bad day. "The dice was merciless".
Did you know that in episode 9 Joshua got mauled by a bear and was supposed to die? Rolled 1s after 1s, no mercy. Then someone made an executive decision to overrule the dice and not kill a guy who just recently got together with a cute tomboy gf. Right before Nocturna that would've been too much.

I think it was pure improv. Blowing on a candle probably doesn't do anything, but it was a good roleplay and creative quick thinking, so the showrunner Sprix allowed it, but made Guin pay the price. Also, she was very giddy about that, she desperately wanted to take that eye. See, it's like poetry, it rhymes.

And speaking of skinwalkers. I have a theory that they can be tied to the meta. Like, couple characters are played by same people - Daniel(RIP), Iskra, Stiorra played by Sprix; Dorothy and Theodosia by Ashe; Lucien and Thaelin(the priest) by Castle. Sure you can say it's for DMing reasons, but it can be tied to the narrative, it fits. You never saw Lucien and the priest in the same room, you never saw Doro and Theo in the same room.
