West is immigrant heavy, lots of poverty. Large families. Contains the hospital, the road into London, all the African and Indian food stores. East is young professionals, middle class store workers. Has the shopping centres, hotels, library, major train station 20mins to central London, Boxpark, lots of high rise estates and new high rise apartments.
