Sort of, but that's without context. He was trying to explain that the second amendment exists so that the average citizen can defend themselves from a tyrannical government (Clara agrees with this btw), but having that liberty comes with the price of, unfortunately, some gun deaths per year. He used the argument of how there's many auto fatalities per year and that banning driving would result in 50,000 less deaths per year, but that people rationally agree that the benefits of driving outweigh that cost, so in his mind the same logic applies to the second amendment. He then went on to talk about how he thinks more armed guards is the way forward to prevent further school shootings.
So while not everyone's gonna agree with that argument, it's not just "lol get fucked crying mothers I want muh guns".

This is incorrect, the quote about empathy is "So let's just, little, very short clip. Bill Clinton in the 1990s. It was all about empathy and sympathy. I can't stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that - it does a lot of damage. But, it is very effective when it comes to politics. Sympathy, I prefer more than empathy. That's a separate topic for a different time."
Again, you might disagree with that and think trying to separate empathy and sympathy like that is just arguing semantics for no reason, but he didn't say anything about how feeling empathy was "weak" or no-one should feel it.
