A person close to me has gotten in poor health and was put on a strict diet, but early on he was following the nutritional plan of a doctor which was less strict. However, when he thought he would get a second opinion he went to a pepper nutritionist and she told him that the first doctor didn't know what the heck he was on about, the previous dies was killing him more than it was doing him good.
Point is that it's really not that great of an idea to trust doctors on the basis of them being certified when they don't have nutritional training.
