I know this is bait, but they already do.

If they want to find inspiration for varying types of content, sure. Hololive's only type of content now is streaming an approved game for X amount of time, taking advantage of friendslop flavor of the month with the collab network, singing and stage performance (the actual bread and butter at this point), and finally voice pack content, but you can find inspiration for that pretty much all over the place now.

The fact is Hololive as far as content creation goes is basically neutered.

In reality Phase is the most successful corpo outside Hololive in the EN sphere, they have the greatest talent retention rate of all vtuber corpos, they have a higher dollar per viewer conversion rate of pretty much anyone who isn't a 1-2 view with a whale trying to actively groom them. Random small corpo and indie vtubers have been putting Pippa, Lumi, Lia, Panko etc on their debut slides since back in 2021. Phase is doing well and will continue to do well no matter how much retards seethe on /vt/ about it
That said outside of using Runie as inspiration for work ethic or some specific skills like Eimi mixing her own covers or Uruka doing instrumental streams Phase doesn't have much worth inspiring vtubers, content-wise they're just consistently mid which is somehow better than most of the industry. Phase works better as inspiration for how corpos should function than how vtubers should act, normalize female only talent managers, invest within your means and build over time, ignore drama rather than address it, do everything to keep your talents happily signed on, invest in marketable merch once a viewerbase stabilizes

I stopped watching holos (and some other vtubers, I only watch 2 right now sometimes) in 2022 or so, unsubbed from bunch of them, not all tho, and after my algorithm adjusted over time I pretty much stopped seeing them at all. I get recommendations about indies sometimes and that's about it. Holo is in a bubble and YT doesn't seem to go out of it's way to shove them in your face.
First you have to find holos and start watching them for YT to adjust and after that their retarded audience is the second filter. Not sure about JP side, but EN side is pretty much disconnected from the rest of the internet as opposed to indies and other "corpos".
