Nimi Nightmare didn't cause the 8 talent graduation wave and that was the fault of Cover. Most of the graduated talents would have stayed in Hololive had management been willing to compromise. Even if they did copy the Nijisanji strategy of rushing out several new gens as replacements that would have only made the situation worse by triggering more graduations and causing long term damage to their brand.

I know this is a bait thread but it would be really funny if everybody in EN gets notified of EN5 except kiara because she's known to spoil a lot.

Unless more of the old dogs of the company retire I don't get why people insist that they need to 'grow'. I put punctuations because new gens don't really grow anything when they just do the same thing as the previous gems does, current Hololive iteration already fills every niche you want all expanding does is splitting fanbase of said niches because they will overlap. Unironically based action Holos' side than throwing shit at the wall every year and hope it sticks. Plus they actually pay their livers salary so they probbaly can't afford their new gens to be a double digit streamer

The argument for more members makes no sense if you see Hololive as one single group but if you consider them separate branches, then it makes a lot of sense. Hololive killed ID by refusing to give them any more members just as they had their first success. EN probably is at max capacity now and so is JP but Dev_is could obviously use more. The problem there is it is a very slow turnaround these days. Flow Glow hasn't even been legitimized yet and won't be until their first anniversary, so there's no point bringing in a third gen but you have to hope or assume they are already going through the long hiring process and vetting with the third gen.
