I'd like to see what Japanese law looks like in that universe. You can't admit fault in this universe because that can be used against you.
Still, there's a more universe that doesn't break suspension of disbelief where they just quietly disposed of her and didn't say anything about it ever.

Managers are as much to blame as the talents, if they were to force a humiliation ritual for selen then they'd either be genuinely evil or woefully incompetent for letting it get that far.
They already crucified Zaion by then. What they did to her was a bigger sin than anything that happened to Selen, but people cared more about Selen because she was NijiEN's biggest talent.
