Katabasis officially debuted as a group on the 18th of October, 2025, following a 96-hour fundraising marathon and group concert. As a talent-run group, as opposed to a corporation or talent agency, members of Katabasis divide duties amongst themselves. Without a manager to rely on like other vtuber groups do, they focus on working together as a team with the same determination that first brought them together!
