I prefer Youtube's stability more than Twitch, plus I can very easily block ads on Youtube. Also being able to go back to catch a moment I missed and then go back to live instantly is very handy.

But there are downsides. The live streamers are very isolated from one another on Youtube. Raiding and collaborations aren't really built in, and finding actual live streamers isn't natively part of the site itself. Actually searching for people streaming live gets very scattergun results, and sorting/filtering them is a nightmare. Youtube still has a long way to go to be the best streaming platform.
