I think when you're in a company like Hololive its impossible to get away from numbers. The psychological highs and lows of big numbers, low numbers, upvotes, down votes etc is real and its hard to grapple with especially if you aren't used to it and have no support system. Honestly if I could make one policy change in Hololive is that I would require every member across all branches to visit a therapist at least two sessions every other month.

I just can't take rants like this seriously.

Addendum to this, I wish Ollie aspired to be literally anything within Hololive. She only exists to be a rug for others and that's a depressing existence as an idol who is supposed to have an underdog story and a journey to fulfillment.

I don't get it how she even thinks it's even her fault. She joined in december of 2020 when Hololive was raiding a wave of success never seen before. It was fucking Hollywood, any Holo could scream into a mic and get millions of views from clips and a new mainstream meme you'd see on normalfag websites. Obviously anyone who joined during this period had their number inflated which include gen5, myth, id2, council and gen6.
During this period people were just subbing everyone and new viewers were coming constantly, I remember subbing to the entirety of gen5 when their channel just appeared.
5 years is already a lot, many regular youtube creators dream of lasting that long, you cannot just cry to your audience your past your prime when everyone else of your company is in the same boat.
I find quite funny and it reminds me of that comment that faggot cdawgva said to Mori 5 years ago, debuting in hololive gives you a garanteed audience from the get-go without effort, in hindsight it was 100% true.
The reason talents like Suisei, Miko, Subaru, Sora can manage to trend upward is because they actually have put the fucking work in. People will inherently put more interest in you when you were there during the struggling part barely scrapping 300 viewers on a good day and will not when you started drowned in success from day1.
Early Holos and late Holos have a story, Ollie doesn't, she was just here at the right time, not her fault.

What the fuck was she expecting to happen? Everything about the way she acts to the topics she likes to discuss to her stream habits are massive turn-offs for most people in the Hololive sphere.

The worst part is most of her issues can not be fixed. She can't simply stop talking about Stars because it wouldn't change anything; it's well-known that she has a deep connection with Jurard who is a genuinely shitty person and helped him get into the company so even if she stopped talking about males entirely this connection is never going away. Notice how she and many other members of ID had a big "guys please watch us we actually do speak English" push in the past few months?
